This year we went on a working holiday at
Tekapo. We worked 2hrs a day at an upmarket B&B,
from 9-11am then had the rest of the day to ourselves.
Basically we travelled around the place every other day, either to Twizel (on
27th) where we dropped Neil off
to holiday with his cousins, picking him up again on his 16th birthday (4th Jan)
or other locations nearby.
We stayed in our campervan at the B&B and travelled around in that as well. A
little slower on the road,
but with food, drinks and bed to snooze on, it was a good mobility choice
We left Dunedin about 10am Boxing day, travelled up via Oamaru and Timaru,
stopping off a Cave to view a historic stone church.
