Welcome to a
history of
Waldronville, a seaside
community, 15 minutes from the heart of
Dunedin City.
Waldronville was subdivided in the early 1950's,
from farmland purchased by Bill Waldron from
the original owners, the McCraw family.
Most street bear names of aircraft taking
part in the Farnborough International Air Race,
being held at that
time.
